Krajowy Fundusz Kapitałowy SA is the first Polish venture capital fund of funds. The KFK's activity consists of investing in venture capital funds that provide capital to small and medium-sized Polish enterprises, especially innovative enterprises with high development potential or conducting research and development activities. So far, KFK, together with private investors, has co-created 17 venture capital funds that have supported slightly over 200 innovative enterprises operating in Poland and around the world. As of December 31, 2019, the National Capital Fund has become part of PFR Ventures.

Adour Business Angels (ABA) is a collective of volunteer investors primarily based in the Adour region, covering areas such as the Basque Country, Béarn, Landes, and Bigorre. Comprising senior executives, entrepreneurs, and retirees, ABA is dedicated to supporting early-stage startups and entrepreneurs through financial investment, mentorship, and strategic advice. As a member of France Angels, a national association uniting Business Angels across France, ABA leverages its local expertise and network to foster innovation and economic growth in its region. They play a vital role in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting promising ventures with seasoned investors who provide crucial support during the startup phase.

The Renaissance Group began its operations in Central Europe in 1994. Its roots, however, date back to the late 1950s, when Franklin Pitch Johnson, as one of the forerunners, through his investment activities in the USA, defined a new financial industry called Venture Capital .
